The Liminal Post is a monthly slow-mail club.

It is an invitation to slow down for a moment, to put down our screens and read a little love letter from my corner of the world. It is a gift for your future self and a wonderful monthly surprise! 

 

What will you receive? 

This is an evolving offering. Each month there will be a letter, an art print or two and... something else? I'm leaving this open to my own whims and what the season inspires. Just know there will always be art. 

 

Why is it called The Liminal Post?

Liminal is a word that rattles around in my brain quite a bit. It’s a word I reflect on and relate to, both in my art practice and in my personal being.

Liminal spaces are rich with transition. They float in the in-between, containing multitudes, existing beyond boundaries and expectations. In the natural world, I often think of estuaries and intertidal zones — the brackish edges where land and sea meet. This is where I find a great deal of my artistic inspiration.

In my inner world, I think of life’s seasons: the spaces between maiden, mother, and crone; perimenopause; the ever-evolving self. I’m drawn to these places of becoming and unbecoming, where one thing gives way to another and nothing is quite fixed.
