The Moon Phase Calendar offers an at-a-glance look at all 365 days of the cycle of the moon. This hand-carved calendar was made with SO much love.  Countless hours were spent designing and carving this beloved project. This is my 3rd year of carving the phases of the moon, and each year it has been a challenge and a triumph. This print is far from perfect, but filled with character. 
 
Options:
Hand-printed: this option takes more time to produce and is therefore slightly more expensive. It is printed on 12x18 135lb printmakers paper. This option contains lovely and organic "flaws" making each print unique (see close-up image for details). There will be limited copies of this option.
 
Archival: this option is digitized version of the hand-printed option. I scan the hand-printed calendar and clean up the design a bit, then print the calendar on an ink-jet printer. 
 
Frame: I designed this print specifically to be hung in the hanging frame shown above. I leave a bit of extra space at the top and bottom of the print to accommodate the frame. You can order the print with or without this frame, but I think it looks best with this type of frame!
 
Calendars are shipped rolled in a tube. Rolled calendars will take a day to "relax" after being unrolled. The weight of the hanging frame will help the process.
